Job Description

Firm Description: Multi-Billion AUM; PE firm and global asset manager. Both directly and through its global asset management business, it originates, underwrites and manages investments in middle market private equity, leveraged finance, real estate and structured products. The fund and its affiliates invest from $10 million to $300 million per company in North America and €5 million to €25 million per company in Europe. The firm and the funds it manages have invested approximately $30 billion in 520 portfolio companies. The diverse portfolio is invested in virtually every industry sector. Over 95 investment professionals in 8 offices in the United States, Europe and Asia. Responsibilities: Deal Execution  Analyze and prepare recommendations for new middle-mkt buyout investment opportunities across multiple industries  Develop and maintain financial models (LBO, debt refinancing, add-on acquisitions)  Conduct due diligence and assist in the management of legal, financial, and third party advisors on process management, structuring and negotiations  Draft investment committee memoranda highlighting key deal attributes and risks, and present recommendations Portfolio Management  Actively monitor and support

 

Requirements

Skill Set and Experience Requirements:  Prior experience in personal trust administration, preferably 2+ years  Prior experience with trust operations preferred  SEI experience strongly preferred  Strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills, and initiative  Strong judgment and ability to use discretion and make decisions  Extensive background in use of Windows and Microsoft based products, including Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook), Internet applications  Attention to detail and organizational skills must be a strength  Proofreading skills  Mail, courier and in/outbox processing for managers  Perform general administrative functions, including occasional back-up to front desk, helping with kitchens and back up of other administrative staff in case of vacations etc Other Essential Candidate Traits:  Ability to maintain extreme confidentiality in dealing with client matters  Ability to “multi-task”, manage several projects at one time, and follow through to completion  Ability to be proactive and anticipate issues and problems and work quickly and proactively to solve them  Team player  Willingness to learn, expand responsibility
